- 08 Feb 2010: OpenAIRE portal - The new OpenAIRE portal is now accessible. OpenAIRE is the new EC project which will set up the infrastructure for the FP7 OA pilot, to allow researchers to deposit and find all FP7 publications.
- 08 Feb 2010: DRIVER going international - repositories from Norway, the Russian Federation, China, Colombia, India, Qatar, South Africa and the USA have entered the DRIVER information space.
- 08 Feb 2010: New repository - DIGIBUG from the University of Granada in Spain has entered DRIVER with 2294 documents.

The DRIVER software ( D-NET v 1.0 ) may be used to set up similar portals to harvest and aggregate content from various sources, provide search, browsing and personalized services using customized user interfaces.
